I'm so Scared - but check at this Awesome Unit on Matter!!!

I have had my blog for a while but I feel like I'm not qualified to be out there with the rest of the awesome teachers in the blogging world. .  I'm going to be brave today though,  and step out and blog, just a tiny bit.

I am getting ready to teach about matter to my students and so I was super excited to find a unit that Danielle over at LaSota's Little Learners created!  Amazing.  You need to check it out for yourself.

I have to stop  and do what I need to do before I chicken out and delete all this.
 

Apple Unit is Almost Upon Me!

Next week I will be starting my apple unit.  This is one of my favorite units to teach.  Yummy apples & so much learning will be happening in my classroom.  If you are still looking for some ideas you need to head on over to Musing of Me and check out her new apple unit.

Alphabet Songs

You don't want to miss this one fellow teachers.  Check out the video below and then the other Alphabet Songs.  I think my first graders will love them!   Listen up everyone.  Here's the exciting part, Have Fun Teaching is giving away these videos for free.

I am more than excited to have found these and will definitely be using them next year with my first grade students.  If you use songs in the classroom for learning, you definitely want to add these alphabet songs to your collections.  We all have those struggling students, and these videos are going to be wonderful to supplement my teaching.  Go and check it out and get your free downloads.

This is my first post.  I will be using this for my classroom blog.  I completed my student teaching last semester.  Hopefully I will find a job soon.
